Tung's Crater Shelf
Stepping onto the crater shelf I immediately noticed evidence of fewer rock-bombs at the back of the crater and ran as fast as I could to the sand trenches pictured in the distance. The high crater wall is the peak of the volcano at 5016 meters. (March 29, 2006)
