Voted 10/10 | Are the two small sharp points on the left, Ogre and Castle Dome? I don't think Thompson is the tall one in the middle having a steep north slope. | | Posted Jun 2, 2004 5:47 pm |

Hasn't voted | I'm not sure about the Ogre & Castle Dome. When I was on top of Hubris, I didn't recall the view being that great looking westward (though perhaps my memory is just failing me), & Castle Dome is even lower, no? You think or you don't think that Thompson is the one with the steep N slope? I'll look at the atlas to see if those 2 peaks might be the Castle Crags. | | Posted Jun 2, 2004 7:04 pm |

Voted 10/10 | The north slopes of Thompson did not appear to be so steep on the map. Did you note that the map of Thompson is at a contour seam between U.S. Standard ft. on the north and meters to the south?
No pix what so ever on the Mt. Thompson page-good reason for a trip over there but perhaps it's a challenge to get there! I Don't know if your summit pix can be assembled into a panorama as Klenke is known to do. | | Posted Jun 2, 2004 7:22 pm |
