This pix was taken during a winter ascent of the Brenva Spur November 22-24, 1976. It is at the beginning of the seracs which lead to the summit slopes. The unusual tint (magenta) was a rare occurrence from time of day and atmosphere (cloud) filtration. Although scanned from a color negative it is very close in actual representation.
