Actually, I'm not sure if this route is the best one to take on AZ's Thunder Mountain.

From where I shot this picture, I had to crawl through several thickets of
catclaw (called "Wait-a-Minute" Bush) and prickly cactus fellows.

I believe the fastest "non-technical" route is the West Ridge, just to the
west of a formation called Lizard's Head.

This is the view of Thunder Mountain from the east.

I'll have more beta on Thunder Mountain when the weather cools down, and
the rattlesnakes go to sleep for the winter.

For some reason, I think we're gonna have an early winter.
