Hasn't voted | why - isn't our planet good enough, or why suppose that something beautiful doesn't really fit in here? | | Posted Nov 9, 2009 4:11 pm |

Voted 10/10 | What I meant was that the photo seemed completely lifeless, and there was something un-earthly, but beautiful about the colours and the whole setting. The two lakes might have been pools of methane on Triton or something like that! Most mountain photos are immediately recognizable as being from the earth. | | Posted Nov 10, 2009 6:19 pm |

Hasn't voted | I largely agree. However, when I have been on Triton recently, I found the atmosphere much more hazy, the light less clear and above all, no such sharp peak. | | Posted Nov 11, 2009 7:13 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I agree with others who've mentioned another planet. My first reaction, before reading their comments, was, "Gee, I didn't know there was water and ice on the moon!" Nice capture with beautiful colors; thanks for sharing. --mark d. | | Posted Sep 22, 2009 1:49 pm |
