Queen To King's Level Three [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Queen To King's Level Three
"Trapped in life's parade, a king without a crown -

In this joy of madness, my smile might seem a frown.

With talons wrought of steel, I tore the heart of doom -

And in one gleaming moment, I saw beyond the tomb."

(Kansas - "The Pinnacle" - 1975)

Courthouse Butte catches the evening's glow, as it rises above the
deep red ramparts of Cathedral Rock.

Nature always has the upper hand on things, beating within the heart of the Court of The Crimson King.

Thanks! Beauty's in the eye of the beholder.

You are the beholder, and I'm The Dude trying to make it all come together.

How do you get such rich colors? Polarizer, warm enhancing filters, or computer enhanced? Your last batch of recent images are really spectacular. Thanks for posting.

It's really no secret.

Some folks use high-priced polarizers, but I can't afford to do that.

I just rely on Ma Nature. I take the pics, and run them trough a "photo-editing"
program (computer) at home, adding contrast and a very small amount of filtering to bring out the colours.

Some folks don't see them as "true" colors,
but I've learned this a long time ago:

"You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time."

You're welcome, and please have a nice day.

(I dream in black & white, so when I see
colours, it makes my day that much special.)
