Hot Colour - Melting The Anger To Stone? [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Hot Colour - Melting The Anger To Stone?
"Cold summer, listening -

Hot colour - melting the anger to stone.

I still remember - the dream there.

I still remember - the time you said goodbye.

Did we really tell lies? ..."

(YES - from "Fragile" - 1971)

Time well spent on the east side of Cathedral Rock, looking over Sedona

towards The Cardinal, Madonna with Child, The Praying

Nuns and Munds Mountain bathed in September's evening light.

My God, what a great image. The red-orange just takes one's breath away. Bravo

Thank you, Mister Steady!

And, I'm going out on a limb by saying that
'God' probably DID have something to do with this scenery, lighting and red-hued landform.

However, I'm still trying to work the bugs
out of my new camera.

Thanks, Dan !!!

I couldn't have done any of this without the
inspiration I received by following classic
progressive rock groups such as Yes, ELP,
King Crimson, and early Pink Floyd
as a lad.

Please stay tuned ...

And thanks for YOUR inspiration!

Bravo Larry - and, as allways, perfectly presented :)

Thank you! My intention was to combine
lyrics from a rock classic with colours
transcribed by Nature herself.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it !!!

Awesome color and luminosity! Looks a bit over-sharpened when blown up.

You're absolutely right!

I'm just a part-time "photog" still playing
around with my new camera, but thanks for the
comment and vote of confidence !!!

Your colors never run !!!

And yes, I do like some lyrics with my images.
What kind of camera is it?

Thanks, John!

The "greatest city in the world" can only be
NYC, but I don't have any poems about NYC.

Yes, it's a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS
digital with a 10X zoom at 9 mega-pixels.
