Exiting the Treeline and...
Exiting the Treeline and entering the saddle area between Avalanche Peak and Cody Peak. The point in the middle of the photo is what I would refer to as the top of the first pitch of snow. The summit exist further to the right and is in sight at this point. A rock carin is slightly visible on the bottom right in the picture. With snow, you can make a straight path up kick stepping.
