This image was taken in the bomber wreck on the Peaks in late March of 2008. It is looking south. We had a great snow year from December to very early March, but then things warmed and dried and it started to melt rapidly. In the background we can see the Mogollon Rim above Sedona, AZ, Mingus Mountain above Cottonwood, AZ, and a great deal of the forested lands of the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests.
