A couple of miles up the road (NE) from Hosteria El Reventador is a nondescript bridge. Cross the bridge and take a left to get onto the "trail". You'll come back this way too and those couple of miles will seem a whole lot longer! (Not sure of the exact coordinates I used but you can't really miss it)
