Thanks again BLong. I took this shot several months ago, and finally thought to post it along with two other Whitney shots.

I wonder what it would look like if you cropped the right-hand side so that the rock was the same depth as on the bottom. Might draw more attention to the mountains in the back.

That would have been a good idea if it weren't too late. Once you post, that's it.

Thank you, Larry. Your photos are so excellent you don't have to get up early for that sunrise glow I'm always looking for.

Thank you for the visit and compliment, Larry.

Actually, rumor has it that Larry buys a lot of red paint at the local Home Depot (gets a big discount too) and then goes out and paints stuff so they appear red in his photos. I'm glad to know that your beautiful pictures arent' doctored up like Larry's are rumored to be. (jk Larry)

It's a bit hard to get out there in the cold, but sometimes it's worth it.
Thank you for the nice comment, Alberto.

Foolish me, I was about to chuck this pic in the trash bin. I thought people would just throw up seeing another Mt.Whitney photo.
Getting a compliment from you, Dow, truly makes my day.
Thank you for everything,
cheers,
Marc

NanulsNice boulder (and everything else)

Voted 10/10

An immaculate looking boulder there Marc, any problems of it?

No, I'm afraid not. The actual climbing and bouldering area is pretty far from this boulder. I made sure to choose a boulder without chalk marks all over it.
Thanks for the visit and the nice comment, Dan.
