SP user Kevin Trieu gazes at the objective, Ranrapalca (North face visible), in the distance. At the Ishinca base camp, the trail heads up through the secondary valley on the right. It is possible to reach Laguna Ishinca from Huaraz in a long day, avoiding the crowds at base camp. June 8, 2009.
