December 28, 2003. At the beginning of our 5-day snow camping trip, we were the only ones in the area. Everywhere we went, we were breaking new trail in knee-deep powder. Tyson & Peter are heading toward Panorama Ridge from Taylor meadows. The Tusk would be to our left.

Hasn't voted | The Tusk is closer to Squamish, but the Helm Creek trail head on the other side is close to Whistler. It's a looooooong slog in on either side (logging roads aren't plowed in winter), but great to be alone once there. | | Posted Dec 13, 2007 5:35 am |
