Angel's Palace, Kodachrome Basin
Stunning Angel's Palace is viewed from a trail atop Moenkopi formations in Kodachrome Basin State Park. Be sure to make this park part of your itinerary when visiting the Escalante area.

Voted 10/10

You definitely used the appropriate adjective here! The differences in colors make for a beautiful rock formation. Incredible shot.

Happy Trails,

Hi Mark-

The Kodachrome area is actually made out of softer rock-Moenkopi Sandstone for the most part. Hence the easily eroded and fantastic shapes. Thanks for stopping by.
