Calf Creek in the Autumn [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Calf Creek in the Autumn
Our only day of foreboding weather had clouds moving through the area in rapid succession, making for great lighting conditions in Calf Creek Canyon. During this time, it was 18 degrees in our home town of Denver, where winter came calling early and cheated us out of our Indian Summer. However, Utah made up for that with a splendid autumn experience that we savored during our entire week's visit. Temperatures averaged 70 degrees, perfect for hiking. This view looks south to the entrance of Calf Creek Canyon.
