Paradise in the Escalante [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Paradise in the Escalante
The feeling was almost tropical at Lower Calf Creek Falls. This spring fed river teems with Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat and Brown Trout. The canyon is an oasis of plant and animal life in an otherwise rocky wasteland of rolling, twisted Navajo Sandstone. It's one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.
