Looking up the 4th class...
Looking up the 4th class section of the Cathedral Peak's summit block. John Muir climbed this in his mountaineering boots on the first ascent. It is definitely very exposed but not hard - June 5, 2004

I'm not a fan of rock shoes outside of the gym. I remember that section of the climb. Thanks for the photo.
