Afterglow [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Afterglow
"Like the dust that settles all around me,
I must find a new home.
The ways and holes that used to give me shelter,
Are all as one to me now."

(Genesis - 1976)

Over the years, the dust making up the cliffs of Oak Creek Canyon has
captured the light of the approaching new day.

Deep in the heart of West Fork of Oak Creek, the Coconino sandstone cliffs
become alive with colour.

Nope, you're way too kind. Way too kind!

Hey, which of the "TyeDyeTwins" am I talking
to right now? Do you guys both like mountains and being outdoors?

That's simply fabulous! I wish I had a partner like that, some kind of "twin" who
is always watching over me and trying
(desperately) to stay out of my shadow!

Have a great one, Twins!

Your talkin to Trevor (the photographer) and Troy is usually my partner in crime when it comes to skiing and mountaineering. I take, post and publish the shots and Troy makes the turns in front of the camera. The beauty of being the photographer is you ALWAYS GET 1st TRACKS. Have a good one Larry.

Sounds like a plan!

They used to have a man named "MOCKBA" on this site, and he would always lay down the 1st TRACKS for everybody else - what a fine
gentleman!

Well ya guys, be SAFE out there in that
white stuff.

Aaaaaa, you're way too kind, Marc!

In some ways, these buff-colored cliffs
resemble the spanking-white granite of
the Sierra Nevada.

Guess you could call this a "poor man's Yosemite." Thanks again, Marc! : )
