KaneNice submit!

The two photos I submitted that I wasn't too sure about were the shots of Hope from Twin Lakes. That's why I submitted two of the same thinking one might be better than the other. But your pic is one I am very happy to show on the main Hope page. Definately better than both of mine!! Thanks. It looks like you missed the fall colors by about a week or so. I'm not sure if you have ever seen this valley in full fall color but I will tell ya, It's an amazing sight!

Thanks! Yeah, it was a bit early, and I would love to see it in full colors. I live too far away to just be there whenever it's best. But I liked the little bits of fall colors along with the green in this photo. This was taken while we were deciding which trail to use on Elbert. We ended up using the main trail, but the drive to where this was taken ended up being worth it because I've always liked this photo, so I was excited to see that you posted Mt. Hope! :-)

I love the smattering of fall color. Was this taken from the Elbert Trail?

Thanks Ryan. Nope, we were scouting around in search of an alternative to the main trail, believing that there was supposed to be a trail in the area, but never found it, so headed over to the main trail.and hiked it. This was not too far above Twin Lakes.
