While on the traverse through the valley of Higgins Creek on the way to Mt. Higgins, Josh and I stumbled upon a strangely square pond amongst swampy plants. It looked manmade. We joked that we might have come upon an Al Quiada West Nile Virus breeding lab. It was truly in the middle of nowhere. June 19, 2004.
