The East Ridge eventually...
The East Ridge eventually tips up to something fierce about 400 feet below the summit. Find a ramp on the left, take it back right (north) behind some evergreen bushes, then round the corner into denser timber. The crux (steepest) part of the climb comes next. After that, the ridge is still narrow and problematic but the green belays more numerous. June 19, 2004.
