Beautiful, vivid colors in many of your excellent photos. What are you shooting / scanning with? Really nice work, thanks for sharing.

Thanks.....This particular shot is actually Kodachrome 64.......not very popular anymore, just had some in the refrig. Hard to find someone to develope it . I have been shooting more Fuji....Provia slide and Reala print. I am using a Nikon CoolsScan IV ED 2900dpi and Photoshop 6. Hue and saturation can easily be enhanced that way; however I do like to keep close to the original slide, and print film .....well...

These saturated colors are true on this particular slide. The real secret is the lens.........Nikon 14mm aspherical f2.8. At 14 mm colors are super saturated. Someone our expedition had one which I was allowed to barrow..........that's good for me as he carried the weight and the pricetag......a meer $1300.00.

Take care, Joel

That is a great shot...got to love KChrome. I just saw 10 rolls of 25 go on e-bay for $120 + shipping. 64 is really hard to find and expensive too. My dad shot a ton of pictures in the Tetons in the 50's and he said he used KChrome 10...wish I had some of that!
