Hasn't voted | That rock tower makes a nice little scramble, and is easily accessed via a third-class downclimb from the Moore's Knob summit area. Watch the downclimb from the tower, though -- it's always harder coming back down than going up, but it's easy in technical rock-climbing terms. | | Posted Feb 6, 2006 10:54 am |

Hasn't voted | If you're a rock climber, how about adding some technical routes to the post for for Moore's Knob? | | Posted Feb 6, 2006 4:49 pm |

Hasn't voted | Might do that, though Moore's is so well-covered in the NC guide that I don't know what I could add. When I get some time I'll throw in a couple of lesser-known easy routes as alternates to the classics for visitors or first time climbers there. Sentinel, Zoo View, etc., can get pretty tied up. | | Posted Feb 9, 2006 2:55 pm |

Hasn't voted | Since I'm not a rock climber I don't know much about the sport and certainly can't post qualified routes. It would make the post look nicer if there were some good rock climbing routes for Moore's Knob. | | Posted Feb 9, 2006 4:39 pm |

Hasn't voted | I'll do that, Bob. Moore's is a fantastic place, and you have a nice page here. I'll be happy to add some rock routes when I can actually give it some thought. | | Posted Feb 9, 2006 5:32 pm |
