Red Canyon - The gateway to Bryce

Since almost all first time visitors to Bryce Canyon National Park go via Red Canyon, Red Canyon doesn't get the rave reviews it deserves (in my opinion).
A nice visitor center and campground are components of this special area but the scenery from the highway can be a grabber. Hopefully, future visits to this area will allow for more exploration of this area by trail. The first section offered here is the wintry version of a drive thru of Red Canyon. I should fess up and admit this is of pictures taken in the spring, just one week removed from being winter.

Re: Great album, Dean!

Thank you Eric, it is a wonderful area and I was lucky with the weather and the snow, it really helps accentuate the red and orange colors of the area.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
