Looking up Willow Creek valley from our campsite atop the cliffs above Willow Lake (July 23, 2004). For the north ridge route you can see the pile of big boulders that can either be bypassed above or below, the cliff band that you must pass, and the top of the north ridge itself.

A local that I was climbing with gave me a name locals use but I forgot it. Thanks for the info.

No problem. I got the information from Grant on one of my pictures that's posted in the Kit Carson page. I would have loved to have been with you guys, but I was traveling home from Peru as you climbed. Hopefully I'll be able to go back to Kit Carson again next year.
