Most pictures of Humbolt show a large ant mound. From this angle on the North Ridge of Kit Carson, the mountain looks much more rugged. Humbolt is behind the unnamed peak in the foreground. Monsoon storms dropped a fair amount of hail on all of the peaks and clouds were in and out all day. July 24, 2004.
