The descent down the scree...
The descent down the scree trail is quicker than

going up. You can better see the use trail below

you. There is no scree running on this coarse and

non-sandy slopes, though. Soon, you'll be back to

the snowy knife edge and the class 3 section. I

had to hurry, with weather again approaching

(note the sky). It began to rain as we did the class

3 sections, and the rock does get slippery. Just

lower your center of gravity and scooch down on

your rear. Don't panic, and slow down if

necessary. Look about to find the correct route

and use trails. Check every notch well. A shame

to get this far and then have a problem! July 25,

2004.
