View of our route from the valley floor to the crest of Donner Ridge (July 31, 2004). Although it looks daunting, it was actually almost entirely class 2 mainly due to an extensive ledge system that is invisilbe from below. We chose to angle over to the right to attain the ridge as low as possible but basically anything between our route and the ridge top is class two.
