Voted 10/10 | challenging, Vid!
But, I suppose the views of Piz Boe and
the neighboring peaks would be very well
worth the time & effort! | | Posted Jun 6, 2009 10:32 am |

Hasn't voted | Larry, when you become used to these ferratas, the normal ones (even if completely vertical) are quite easy and very safe.
I don't know if I wrote, but the guy in front of us, with the white helmet, is a mountain guide and he went with a client. Higher on this route something suddenly said "crack", and then he took the helmet off and with a wide smile showed quite a considerable wound in it. A stone came silently and invisibly. With my Jasmina we have still not been using those helmets. Sigh! We must really try.
Cheers!

Voted 10/10 | Yes, I just got back down from Mingus Mountain here in AZ, and you always have
"motorcycle riders" NOT wearing helmets.
Who is this 'Jasmina?' I have a friend who
once had a dog named 'Jasmin,' but the dog
died of old age.

Hasn't voted | Yes, Larry, I agree with the "cheese wisdom", ha, ha! Jasmina is my wife and the best partner to go on mountains. I guess you also have the name Jesamine, at least I remember a song:
"When Jeasamine goes,
a part of me knows
I'm not really living..."
The name should be kind of Arabic and also a strong smelling bush is called like that. They make parfumes from its blossoms.
Looking forward to know more of your wisdoms ;) | | Posted Jun 7, 2009 5:22 am |
