There were major cairns on the beach when I reached Buck Creek. On the map it was difficult to tell whether this was Buck Creek or a minor unnamed creek between Shipman and Buck. I really wasn't sure but figured anything attracting this much attention probably was the place I was looking for. Aug 29, 1999.
