A climber unwittingly poses on a pinnacle along Missouri's standard northwest ridge route. Just below him to the left is what could be considered the crux section of the route. Hardpacked scree and a scarcity of holds makes this section a potential hazard to inexperienced climbers. Proceed with caution. Summer, 2004.
