Fay testing the Sixteenmile Ford

This is the ford at Sixteenmile (the camp is on the far side beyond the group of hikers). Fay tested it then retreated. She is not tall and therefore she would be in farther than most folks. Fortunately, there is a tree one can cross the river on. The tree is around a bend in the river and cannot be seen from the area of the ford. Aug. 14, 2010.
