Voted 10/10 | nice historic sidenote on the rarity of visits on some of the Gore Mountains. Congratulations on visiting such an obscure summit.

Hasn't voted | Thanks. I also ascended F and G via the Ripsaw Ridge. Those summits will be added soon. | | Posted Aug 17, 2004 1:53 am |

Hasn't voted | That very cool register is enough reason to visit it! It's great when you can find an old register and hold pages of history in your hands. I felt very lucky to find a Sierra Peak a few summers ago that had several Norman Clyde signatures in the register. | | Posted Aug 17, 2004 6:04 pm |

Voted 10/10 | That finger looks like it's been around since '48 too. :-) | | Posted Aug 17, 2004 6:34 pm |

Hasn't voted | I wish I would have photographed all 4 pages. I took a photo of the last but boneheadedly not the first. | | Posted Aug 17, 2004 11:50 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Indeed congratulations and well done on the photos, page & route. Awesome stuff. This history stuff is cool, too. | | Posted Aug 17, 2004 5:59 pm |

Hasn't voted | Think about what that register has seen in 55 years! That's 55 winters. How many near-misses from lightning? How many glorious sunrises/sunsets? Excuse me while I wax poetic... | | Posted Aug 18, 2004 10:08 pm |
