Looking down the west ridge as clouds from the ocean creep in. It looks like the ridge is the edge of some witch's cauldron here.

Hasn't voted | Don't know, I've never heard of a giant's pot and can't find anything on the internet about one. I meant it looked something like the bubbling and smoking witch's cauldrons you see in books or movies.

It's a round hole in the ground. In reality it's a stone that has drilled it, usually during the Ice Age.
