Pioneer Route
Leading the final pitch (~5.4) of Pioneer Route. My brother is belaying me from the nose boulder. Our Mom is on the left (near the Spring Board) living up the excitement. Shirley's behind the camera (August 28, 2004).

Nice pictures Radek. Its always fun to climb with the family! I am hoping to try some aid climbing this fall at Smith and finally do this route ...

Thanks Jim.

It's always a fun route! Think it's probably the best place to get some aid exposure - beefy, new bolts on the A0 section and very nicely spaced (no top stepping required). THink my brother had a day on the rock he won't soon forget (in a good way that is :)
