Thanks. I wish I could have gotten a little more of the sun bouncing of the top of the cloud.

CoraxMt Mordor...

Voted 10/10

...or what is the name of that mountain in Tolkien's Trilogy?

The photo gives me the impression that it's shot in a non-existing world. :-)

Mysterious and doomy atmosphere!

Great!

The real name of Tolkien's mountain is Orodruim or Mount Doom located over the plain of Gorgoroth in the land of Mordor where the shadow rule,...(yes, very apropiate for the doomy atmosphere)

Really a great shot. What did the weather turn to? Was it settled? Turned it out bad?

We were ice climbing on the lower section of the mountain during the day. The wind was blowing so hard I was blown to the ground twice. While we were driving out we stopped to check out the trees. Even miles from where we were the tops of the trees must have been moving 15 feet. We saw smaller trees that had blown down in the road while we were climbing. I think this was the works wind I have been in.

Unreal... you could have fun in Photoshop with this one:) but obviously at its best by itself. I think it would blow me away, too...

ArkinPicture is ok, but what is behind?

I appreciate boy, to have the required will power in that extreme wind...

I am sure, less people knows the symptom of weather as reason. Shortly: pressure of the atmosphere and temperature changes at these zones as meeting of strong wind and the rock block.

And as we know, creation of clouds depend on temperature and pressure in the actual air, which has an own relative steam contain. When the air suffers a P-T change, local clouds born very fast.

Thanks for the picture.
