Look at that cobalt blue sky and the golden tundra, I can just smell the decaying grass. This is my favorite time of year. Spring in the Gores may be the next best time of year. Headed to the Elks again this week and have never been so excited. Great shot Aaron.

Aaron, is this maybe one of the Mohawk Lakes? I believe you can't see Pacific from the Spruce Creek lakes. Beautiful photo in any case.

Ooops, my bad. Looks like the valley I've been refering to as the Spruce Creek drainage is actually the Crystal Lakes basin. I should know better ;-)
