The crux on the North Ridge [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The crux on the North Ridge
Close-up view of the crux on the North ridge of Mount Neva. The route goes through the notch at the center of the picture and climbs the dark triangular wall to its South. The Class 4 crux is about 20 feet long. It is vertical, but there are good handles and the rock is solid. Past the notch, one continues with airy Class 3 climbing until Point 12700, visible at the left of the picture. Photo by HoonSang Jin. August 2004.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
