 Heraclea Lyncestic is one of...
Heraclea Lyncestic is one of the most important ancient towns in Mecedonia. It is placed at the foot of Baba (2601m) massif and at the outskirts of Bitola, second largest Macedonian town. Romans conquered it, as whole Macedonia, in year 148 BC. It is placed along the most important Roman route, Via Egnatia, which connected Adriatic Sea with near east and today's Istanbul (then Constantinople). Because of that it was very important town strategically and economically. Large theater with 3000 seats is perfectly preserved. If visiting Baba massif don't miss to visit Heraclea.

"This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war."   --Marv, Sin City
