Did the French tried their ridge on 1950 when climbed Anapurna? Or was it later?

Yes, May 1950 the French decided that both the south face and the SE was not suited for an ascent

I think left side of this picture not suit for climb and right side of this picture suit for climb. snow in picture very clean.
