The 40 feet of vertical rock... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
The 40 feet of vertical rock...
The 40 feet of vertical rock to the top of the summit pinnacle of Denny Mountain - easily free soloed with good holds. I think the sign must be for skiers. The only way down from the top on skies would be a run named "suicide"!

It's good to see The Man is looking out for all the gumbies in the world. A sign like this is quite silly really...but, in a way, completely legit if you think about the number of ijits out there.

Thanks for the vote and the comment - I've just added some more words to the photo title.

God forbid The Man ever finds out what we climbers really get involved with - good thing most of those dorks live behind desks and seldom see the light of day! As it is, there's too many of them (and their evil twins, aka "contingency fee lawyers") in the world. I suppose the ski areas are stuck with the reality of modern times and "too many ijits" Who was it that first said "first kill all the lawyers..."?

best regards,

Don
