SP'ers Bob Bolton and Dennis Poulin stand adjacent to the trail junction sign with Elkhorn Peak in the background. The use trail that leads to Elkhorn is just off the trail about 40 feet from where they are standing. Work your way up through the trees and cliff bands (all easily negotiated) to reach the summit of Elkhorn Peak. Be sure to check out the Elkhorn Peak page now available here at SP.
