One of many summits making up...
One of many summits making up the Hayden Mountain massif south of Ouray rises abruptly in the foreground. To the right (near center of picture) is Wildhorse Peak, and further right is an unnamed peak that deserves a name! Behind Wildhorse is the highest mountain in the San Juans, Uncompahgre Peak, and left of it is another 14er, Wetterhorn Peak. Seen from the summit of Hayden Mountain, Fall, 2004. San Juan Mountains, Colorado.

Yes it is! I was impressed by how the mountains all slant in the same direction. Even in the San Juans, where chaos seems to be the norm, there is symmetry and grace if you look close enough.
