Fred Barr, who built this trail, was a close relative of my Great-Grandfather, David Barr, who also resided in Colorado. I appreciate this!

Thanks for the great comment. It’s a wonderfully built and maintained trail. What is also nice, the year-around volunteers at the Barr Camp are well versed in the history of Fred Barr and how the trail and camp were built. Happy hiking!
