Pag town is center of Pag in every sense. It is placed close to Sveti Vid (349m) so also a gateway to visit it. On the crest above the town are several of total 7 50m high windmills in wind power plant which counts on using some of the immense energy Bura wind creates. Bura blows down the Velebit massif which is behind in the Bura wind cap. In my opinion these windmills, although looking attractive, ruined the scenery and the feeling of untouched nature.
