Everest seen from Gokyo is almost eastern direction. So the photo light gets better at noon than in the morning. I took the photo once when we arrived about 9 AM and I had to take this one in better light before we left about 10,30 AM.
But anyway, camping on Gokyo peak and waiting for the sunrise will sureley be a great experience.
