but why sepia? I've always thought of Montana as fairly drab, but this is ridiculous ;-)

Sorry to disagree, but IMHO sepia is PERFECT for this shot! It gives a far more deep and soulful look at this mountain. Don't think of this as "sepia" in the "old picture" sense. It has a haunting, dreamlike quality. I'm very impressed.

It has the, I have a digital-camera-and-am-playing-with-the-sepia-effect feel if you ask me. Sepia is very cool, but methinks it's overused these days.

Well, personal tastes vary. No, I haven't been to Montana but that little smiley face on my original message means I'm being tongue-in-cheek. I'd love to get up there someday and climb some (full-color) mountains.
