Amazing how this was about the only time we could see the peak, even for a brief instant, on this trip. Boy did we have lousy weather for Fisher Peak and Scotchman. I"m glad you were able to "capture" this one moment when the peak was "there". I took the same pic from the same spot thirty seconds later and missed it as the clouds once again covered everything. Your other pic, showing the north face is a neat one not just because it shows the north face, but because that's how the mountain looked just 30 seconds later. Thanks Bob.

Yeah, that weather was no good, but SMMSLT dictates that I'll never see them with better conditions. :-( This pic was quite a bit darker before I applied the digital darkroom, and it still seems way too dark.

That is because it was dark. Check out this pic as a reminder of how dark it was even at noon day up there. Did you happen to get a decent pic of the summit area itself?
