Forest Canyon Overlook (the trailhead) is marked 3 miles away off of Trail Ridge Road. Notice the 2000 ft drop into Forest Canyon, with this route you get the privledge of hiking back up that steep slope for the return trip.



This is the northeast ridge of Terra Tomah Mountain, down below you must negotiate a nice notch in the ridge that is no more than class 3 scrambling by its easiest route.
