jwclimbsDeep snow for July!

Voted 10/10

Wow Nelson, 98/99 must have seen a lot of snow. That is a sizeable drift and a fair amount still on the mountain for mid-July.

Thanks guys! I went back and checked my slides, and it was July 1998, not '99. The caption has been corrected. It was early in the month, possibly the July 4 weekend. Yes, it was definitely nice having all that snow around back then! Maybe this year will be better than the last few.

Every time I have seen this scene the area on the immediate left consisted of dry rock and mudflats. Nice photo.
